Discrete video card interface name?

Hi, I have this graphics card from an LG R500. It is the usual suspect nvidia 8600M and works after a reflow. The interface with the MB is unusual and I am having trouble finding a replacement because of this. Would someone tell me the name of the interface - circled in red. Anybody know what other cards are compatible with this interface?

Is it MXM? That's where I get confused. They talk about, "(MXM) is an interconnect standard for GPUs (MXM Graphics Modules) in laptops using PCI Express". The photo below is what I thought PCi connection was but this card has a different one entirely.
