    Acer TravelMate 4050 - 9 days no use and now low volume

    Acer TravelMate 4050
    Fault: Low volume of audio.

    9 days ago I went away turned off the laptop before I went and I come back and find that the audio is quite I have to really put my ears up close to hear.

    I have ruled this out as being a software/driver fault. as I have linux and windows.

    What could of went wrong while I away for this to do such a thing.

          did you try an external spaeker ?

              external test turned out fine.
