hp pavilion dv2000 power problem

hi i have a hp pavilion dv2000 would not turn on.when i plug in the blue light inside the power jeck also not turn on .i also check the mobo and found that no chip or any thing is heating.i need useful advice.

do you have dc in ? measure adapter voltage first. And need more info and photos.

unasamble your laptop, take your mobo outside and take pictures of power side, and find the schematics. measure vin voltage, check if there is +3.3 an +5, check power button voltage and press to see if it become to 0 ???

also this dv series laptops ribbon cable is a common problem, fist change it.

test the psu!!! do you have multi meter? make sure psu is worken before rippen it apart!
