HP dv4-1275mx Display Issues

Laptop has following symptoms:
-Screen displays random colorful lines for a while then goes blank.
-VGA display is fine
-Not nVidia graphics
-Sometimes moving it makes the colorful shit different, but once the LCD screen goes blank it doesn't go on again until a cold boot.

Would it be the screen or the ribbon cable or what? Thank you!

1.try to reseat the LCD cables (ribbon) from pack of the panel and mobo

2.make a mild reflow of the gpu.
-if that fixes it. reball
