msi laptop problem power but no display i replace 4 tantalum caps to nectokin and i replace the brand new ram and processor but same is no display.. how can i fix it please help.. thank..

did you use brand new capacitors?
does the sleep led is lit when powered on?

do you have a picture of that fix you did?

here is the picture...

my apology that i mentioned "I replaced the proadlizer with 4 pcs 330uf tantalum" but rather i replaced it with 3 pcs 220uf and 2 pcs 330uf. it works the same. total capacitance is the same with 4 pcs.

note: be carefull in pricking the chip. pads easily break off.
(scrape mo yung tapat ng positive lead para may pag hinangan ka, kung ganyan ang orientation na gagawin mo)

I just shared my experience about this kind of problem with these models. It is you who did the job to make it work am just a part of it though.

Agree with you in this one though putting 4 x 330uf 2.5v will do the job also and the temp of cpu will not suffer or go above normal usage.

You can only order that tantalum thru online, you can't find it here in any electronic shop or if you don't have any defective motherboard as what fddizon mention in post #26. Hope it will help.

Saan pwede makabili dito sa manila ng 330uf 2.5v tantalum capacitor dito sa manila?.. Naiikot ko na ata ung manila(Quiapo, Cubao at Pasay) wla akung nakita.

Tama nga Hinala ko. Hindi umiinit Yung CPU kc Wala Supply na Nag Sisimula sa Papunta Nec Tokin. kaya dapat lagyan ng 4 na 330uf na Capacitor Subtiyute ng Nectokin sira nga ng Nec Tokin... Galing mo talaga Idol...

I just question. Does warms CPU (microprocessor) said if they're holding?

Science has discovered sulution hehehe .. First try to trace if no open circuits. Dycc like you said that major reasons that parts that are in parts level of DC / DC and SMPS. If the processor probably not hot he's right. there's also no. you tried to check Nec Tokin? have also fixed that. Do not injure the GPU .... (english ver)

Jika pemproses mungkin tidak panas dia betul. ada juga tidak. anda cuba untuk memeriksa nec Tokin? juga telah ditetapkan. Jangan mencederakan GPU ....(Bahasa Melayu Ver.)

Tried and tested and so far for me it works without any conflict with the performance of the laptop. It is just the same with Toshiba Satellite issues with Nec/Tokin cap.

Give it try first and hoping and looking for you to fix it as i did.

Hi,

when powered on, no display, fan spinning, power led is lit, sleep led is lit.
5v 3.3v alw are ok. coils near cpu has .01 and .02 volts.

what does this mean?

pre...anim na 330 capacitors mag work yan for xure!!
