Hello all,
I have searched high and low before posting and have found similar thread but are not relevant or are unsolved so I hope ive covered myself for the rules.
I have a Toshiba satellite c660 board with a power issue, when the unit is powered on the fan spins, the power light comes on and then powers off after roughly 5 seconds. The second time the button is pressed the unit powers on and stay on but does not display.
After being left for long enough the GPU and CPU do generate heat so I assume they are getting current fed to them.
Heres what ive tried.
1. Removed all addon components (same)
2. Tried with and without memory (same)
3. Clearing cmos with jumber points (same)
4. Removed CPU (same)
5. Reseated CPU (same)
6. Removed power switch ribbon and bridged to power on (same)
Im pretty much now at a brick wall, I have two satellite l350d's doing something very similar so it does seem a common issue but I cant get to the bottom of it, thanks in advance for any help offered.
Regards
