Lost ports in Device Manager on Toshiba Laptop

For some reason ports are not showing up in device manager

When I used to plug in my phone it would detect, make a noise and pop up open pictures.

now it does nothing at all, either with phone or camera

And, when i look in device manager ports are no longer there

They were yesterday anyone have any ideas?

Check CMOS setup. it may have been disabled there.
or perhaps the regulator for these ports went bad.

try the usb port on the opposite side of the laptop.

already checked cmos, there is no setting there at all

and, also tried the other ports

The ports are physically good, they do respond to my external drive but, neither of my phones for some odd reason the ports (which includes printer lpt and com ports is no longer in device manager)

in device manager check "Show hidden devices". keep the window open and when plugging your phone look if the "tree" refreshes.
