    ASUS GA402R IC identification

    Hey guys! my name is kyle, new to motherboard troubleshooting and a little confused still on chip identification if yall could help identify this chip..
    also if you could teach me how to fish on this particular topic... i did read through the ic identification sticky, and couldnt identify this with that info... thanks!

    EDIT, just realized thats a 5 and not an S in the first line... finding results for it now. cant figure out how to take down thread so im not embarrassed

    Is this equivalent? how do i find the long PN like TPS51285ARUKR ?

      Not sure about this new website look. Some of the latest posts are missing.

      Yes, the part is the same. The suffix is defined inside the datasheet from Texas Instruments. In summary, the suffix defines the tape & reel qty if you are considering to purchase in volume.

        I had a hard time even logging in to new website. Seems like teething problem. But a refreshed look is always welcome.

          Also, cant login with my old browser, must use newer who is slooow and chrashes sometime...
          The page is presented like "no go" for my handheld devices... no joy.
