Hello .

I have a laptop in which I changed the EC chip because it was shorted.
After replacement, the notebook starts normally but does not detect the SSD / NVME disk.
I tried changing the contents of the BIOS, but nothing changed.
If I start the live system from USB, it starts normally, but the disk is not detected.
There is a +3V power supply on the M.2 port.
Can anyone advise what else could be checked.

Check each of the ssd pcie lines in diode mode. No power. Meter in diode mode. Red meter lead, yes red to ground. Black to the ssd pin to test. Post each measurement.

After testing different versions for BIOS and EC, NVME started working properly.
