Did I brick my HP Elitebook 830 G6?

    Hi!
In my eagerness to apply the RCUnlocker tool on my bios flash on my Elitebook 830 G6 I removed ALL the flash memory chips - the 32Mb on front side, the 16Mb on back side, and the 1Mb(80Mbit) on back side.
I did successfully apply the update from the tool and soldered back on the 16Mb and put the 32Mb back too.
However.. I trashed the 1Mb... I managed to snap it in half mishandling it with tweezers! Opps!
The chip is a W25Q80DVZPIG which I believe is the Thunderbolt Firmware.

On connecting everything back up I cannot get the laptop to respond at all! One flashing orange light next to power input, and that's it!

I had hoped the system could at least boot to bios without a functioning Thunderbolt. Maybe not?

    Ideas?

    What I can try next:
    - I am waiting on replacement W25Q80 that I can solder back. However, I have no idea what firmware to put on there. I can't find any HP TBT update that has a .bin inside it. Any thoughts on where to source this?
    - Also, I'm using USB C power supply, not the DC input jack. I'm waiting on a DC jack charger so I can try that in next day or so. I have read that the TB chip also controls the USBC PD in some way.

    Thanks!

Yes, USB-C is very unlikely to work without thunderbolt software in place. Your best is to get a charger for barrel type and hopefully that'll give you display assuming that the other two bios chip contents are good.
