Acer TravelMate P414-15 Not turning on
Hello Everyone,
I have interesting case with Acer TravelMate P414-15, Board Model Number NB2700_MB_V3_PCB,
Basically, the laptop was coffee-damaged, opened the laptop, and there was coffee almost everywhere, but not much corrosion, noticed there was corrosion near PU301 and PU201, after that I started measuring, and found a short on +AC_BAT_SYS, inject 3v on that line, PU201 was getting hot, removed it and the short was gone, but unfortunately I couldn't find same IC, so I searched for alternative for PU201 (JW5068B) and found SY8286BRAC has the same function and datasheet, ordered and soldered the new IC, (forgot to mention that I measured the outputs on the coils, all of them were 0 because of the short +AC_BAT_SYS, after changing I'm getting 19v and 5v, and that's it, no light on the charger and still not turning on.
Found after that, I have a short on V3P3A_LX but nothing getting hot, inject 3v, takes 5A on the power supply, but nothing getting hot at all, my question is, I'm missing something correct? I read on this form same problem with same line short but on ASUS X555LD, and everyone said CPU Dead, just want to make sure, is it dead end ? should I get another motherboard, or there is something I'm missing, also the short comes from the line +3VSUS because its connected with a Coil PL201,
