Hello Badcaps!
I recently got a job where the keyboard assembly of an Asus ROG Strix Scar G533QR was replaced from an Arabic keyboard to a nordic layout.
The original (arabic) part number is 0KNR0-4630AR00 and the replacement part number is 90NR0541-R31ND0.
The keyboard works well, lights and every button works, except the left shift.
In nordic keyboards there is a small shift and a < button, instead of a larger shift, which seems to be the only actual difference in the keyboards, except the legend.
Could this be an issue with the KBC/BIOS or is this be due to the difference in the actual hardware?
Different regions get slightly different versions of the laptop (G533QR, G533QM, G533QS), and the bios files are different aswell. Should i try to flash another bios to the laptop? The G533QM seems to be the nordic/european version, and the laptop in hand is a G533QR.
If anyone has any experience in stuff like this I'd greatly appreciate the help
Thanks!
