    dell 3542 IGPU disable

    hello I'm looking for some answerer about IGPU
    i have dell 3542 with IGPU AND DEDECATE one
    the mane IGPU its not working properly every time i boot up i get some artifacts and laptop turn of and reboot again some time it boot normally for 1 min and the same scenario again artifacts and shutdown
    my question!
    is it possible to disable IGPU and run laptop with DGPU
    or there is any possibility to disable it via bios bin or take off some capacitor or coil like DGPU to disable it completely

          With a discrete graphics chip onboard,display comes via DGPU and iGPU is not involved much. Are you sure its iGPU thats troubling you or the reverse is true?

            I removed the vcore power gpu and still I get artifacte
            I know it's 1/100 that igpu get defected
            Maybe it's Cpu problem because sometimes screen goes black and shutdown directly

              iGPU cant be disabled but i think problem may not be related to igpu.Have worked on hundreds of these boards and never faced this issue.The most common fault on this board is PSL /SIO/RTC

                  it's triode near cmos recive 3v and 6v phase
