    Asus Zephyrus GX502GV Burnt Components

    Hey everyone!

I wanted to upgrade the SSD on my ASUS laptop (Zephyrus S GX502GV) and everything went just fine, except when I tried to put it back together I accidentally inserted the battery before the screen connector. When inserting the screen I hit the connector on the board and a spark happened.

The situation now is that the computer works (outputs over HDMI) but the screen doesn't turn on.

I've tracked the burned components on the motherboard and found a schematic for the laptop. My problem now is that I can't figure out the exact name or operation of the components I burned. Please see the attached pictures. The component names in the schematics are L4502 (AC_BAT_SYS_LCD, AC_BAT_SYS_LCD_S), C3912 and C3914.

Can any of you guys shed light on what the component might do, and if it would be possible to replace?

    Thanks in advance.

Its an easy job to replace those components. the ratings are given in schematics. For test purpose, you can ignore the caps C3912/14 for the time being. L4502 is important and it feeds 19V to led circuit,so should be placed there. However, you should check resistance to GND on both pads of L4502 before soldering a new ferrite bead.

Thank you for your response. Do you know exactly what components I should use/buy?
