Asus GL504GM No Display, Not Posting all voltage is Present

i this asus ASUS GL504GM that have a shorted Mosfet on the CPU Vcore and GPU vcore first i replace the mosfet on GPU vcore side then it turned on but in testing it will shutdown abruptly then after many hrs another mosfet died but this time it in the CPU vcore side then i replace it with a new one and it resolve the shorted on main 19v power rail.(i didn't use may power supply) in testing i used the original charger. so i didn't inject 19v to CPU using power supply but the issue is the laptop is not displaying nor posting no cpu activity with all voltage present 5v/3.3v,1.05v,Vcore for both CPU and GPU,and etc. when i turned on my power supply it will turn on automatically with a current draw ~1.4A.

    maybe somebody can help.

It is Game Over anyway. There is no difference whether 19V are supplied from charger or bench top psu. Although PSU actually would have been better because you can Limit the current. However, a CPU which receives 19 through a shorted Mosfet/DrMOS is almost always a dead CPU

If you're still in doubt, I'm the 3rd person in row to conclude its game over unless you plan to replace soc.

just can't believe since while i was just stress testing it. it shutdown then it had a short then i immediately unplug all battery and charger. then i know i have a short again. then never inject voltage after that just like a user must have use it.

gaming then a shorted mosfet then turned off. i located the short using multimeter only not by injecting voltage.

could the random shutdown caused by a failing CPU?? i had this issue where it would shutdown randomly and could trip the charger over current protection??

Very likely, it was the failing mosfet and not failing cpu which was causing the issue.

Its really annoying to see so many boards going to junk pile just 'coz of shorted high side mosfet for cpu. I've atlest 20+ boards with same issue in my junk pile ans all of them are acquired within last 6 months. So the failure is quite common and regular. Ahhh INTEL.
