C223NA Chromebook - SOT23-5 burning hot on thermal cam

Hello,

I have a C223NA Rev 2.2 motherboard, wont boot. when plugging in power via usb-c, it consumes about 0.160 - 0.197a (see pic)

I put it under thermal cam because I felt a component getting really hot (see pic).

The component has markings G5M, but I am unable to find any values for it, or schematics/boardviews. Ive outlined it in red in one of the attached pictures.

It looks like a SOT23-5 package to me.

Would anyone happen to recognize the markings?

actually, i forgot... I was able to find schematics in this post here https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=97096 but its for Rev 1.2 (i have 2.2). And I went through the entire thing, googling every component starting with a Q and was unable to find any that match a SOT23-5 package.

PU8304. Check and report please.

Edit: And check whether you have any unexpected short to GND around this IC (except Pin2 of course). I'm afraid to tell it is even possible to deal with a dead SoC from here.
