JVC GY-X2 Camera - Service Manual Needed

I was given a JVC GY-X2 SVHS camera who the last owner had given up on reviving. He already went inside apparently and replaced some 30 caps in an effort to fix an issue where the camera would not fully power on and the colors were all wrong/the image was noisy. The only thing that operated fine was the lens controls.
A quick glance through the manual showed that the CCD circuitry would show the exact same noisy picture/wrong colors symptoms if the camera was getting less than 11.5V. Seeing as I fed it a straight 12v through a regulated bench supply and the electronics in the lens pretty much directly feed off the 12V source, I suspect that the internal voltage regulation was not checked or recapped so I want to do exactly that and see what that does.
Problem is that unlike my CCD-V5000 which also suffers from bad caps, I don't have the service manual for the camera and I don't dare start tearing the thing apart until I at least know what the hell I am about to do. It would also be nice to rig my scope up to it and compare to what's in the manual.
Unfortunately I'm having no luck finding it unless I pay a fee.

Just a word of advice from someone who has been there. The manual might not help you much, because after all it is a description of what goes on when everything is working right. Chances are you have handfuls of bad capacitors, not just one. There is also a chance that the problem is not capacitors, but that will be plenty obvious the moment you start checking the boards with an ESR meter. As usual, whenever SMD fail on high density boards, you will be faced by the need to repair the tiny traces that have been dissolved. A good close look at things is the first step.
    Is it plugged in?
