Hello!

I bought recently used HP 400 G5 Desktop Mini PC and wanted to install windows. As I could see, bios has password. I did a dump of it with EEPROM programmer and backed up.

I need to clear the pass. Very thankfull if a pro could clear it.

Hi all newbie here
Have a mini PC (HP ProDesk 400 G5 Desktop Mini PC) but cant get a clean read from my
ch341a programmer because the chip is protected, will the unlock tool work and how would I use it.
I can up load photos if needed

remove the chip from the board before writing or reading
if you don't have an adapter, stick the chip to the programmer or stick wires between the program and the chip.. use one of these programs..

Ok so I have a USB programmer hooked up but it's reading FF and not the contents of the bios chip

It's so weird I can't read the chip .. it will say reading then finish with only 00 or FF and I can't write to it

Good day, any one can clear me my bios? The unit is no power on, and when I reflash it using other bios in this thread, it errors 6 long red light and beep and 3 Short white light

We need to clean the ME Region, as it automatically shuts down after a certain time. Maybe the BIOS was corrupted. We have uploaded the old BIOS here. Need good bios with ME clean

post moved..next time look for a thread with the name and model, motherboard model of the laptop, and post there, if you can't find it, then make a new thread..
