try changing the ME region with clean (15.0.47.2521 corporate H) this is for i7-11700k.
coz the hp prodesk 400 g7 is only for 10th gen ME 14.1 Corporate H.

Is it possible to upgrade the bios of the hp prodesk 400 g7 sff pc so that it will support the i7-11700k processor? I believe according to the intel site, the 400 series chip set in the pc should support this processor. I just need a bios that does. Any help is appreciated.

i already forgot the admin bios password
i can log in upto windows is there a way to reset the bios setup password?

if so please guide me im new to this
what else do i need to unlock the bios or if its possible to reflash bios while on windows?

Buy yourself a programmer and use it to read your BIOS chip and upload it here with the serial number.

Reread your chip at least 3 times, compare to see if it's the same. This error is mainly caused by the programmer.

Hi have have a prodesk 400 g7 where it had a password and I flashed with with an bin from the hp website but now no display and even flash back the backup I'm still getting no display. this is currently going to be an issue with my boss

no way, since you can enter in bios setup and can modify fields it means it has no password. load factory defaults and restart, you'll have a surprise ...
