Anyone have a datasheet for Mitsubishi M60073-1702FP (Compaq 149473-002)?

It's a QFP-160 that is connected to the CLK line on the bios rom on mny Compaq Proliant 1500.

I am trying to figure out why I have no clock signal at the bios rom, but without a datasheet I'm kinda stuck on what this IP does.

    Thanks!

The only one I could find one has to create an account to see the data sheet. To me it seems like they aren't too eager to sell products.

If interested, it is at this site.

      I appreciate your response.

Registering there replaces the datasheet URL with: https://www.mitsubishichips.com/?fil...=M60073-1702FP

This resolves to a page that looks like an un-configured webserver. "Free Static HTML5 Website Templates | 2022 Update"

www.mitsubishichips.com does not appear to be owned by Mitsubishi.

I have sent an inquiry to Mitsubishi directly. If I get the datasheet I'll link it here.

What I think is Compaq Proliant had a program chip made. In my day they called them pal chips. So, they have a bunch of nan gates connected in a package and they want a certain Boolean algebraic expression out of the end result. They then burn out some of the nan gates to obtain this expression.

I do not think that Mitsubishi make these type of IC anymore. I think a spun off took over this area. They are called Renesas Electronics. You might try to find a service manual for Compaq Proliant 1500.

You might find this site useful Sorry that was you .https://www.reddit.com/r/vintagecomp..._nitty_gritty/

What you might do is contact HP and see if you can talk to one of their design engineers and ask, them if they have an old schematic for this model. They would have to check with their drafting department to see if those drawings are still there. If that does not work, you might email CEO and President Dion Weisler at HP. If he is still working, there. He is a pretty good guy.
