The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..
do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..

Is there no other way to unlock the bios? I don't have the tools or the knowledge to do what the video shows.

In previous posts I saw that they upload the locked bios to you and you upload the unlocked bios to them.

I don't speak English well and I might have written it wrong.

well, that's what I'm talking about...you load the bios from the laptop chip, we unlock it, and we load it unlocked, you take it and write it back to the chip...do you understand...???
