Hello everyone, I ask for help and advice - I have data for the firmware - but I don't have the firmware itself. Is it possible to enter this data into a clean firmware?
Apple iMac EFI/BIOS for iMac 21.5" Late 2012 (A1418, EMC 2544) MD093RU/A
Serial Number – C17K62FEDNCR
MLB (Main Logic Board Serial) – unique motherboard identifier - I'll find out later - do you also need this number?
Board ID (or System ID) – iMac13,1 device model identifier (corresponds to A1418).
AirPort ID (Wi-Fi MAC address) 8C:2D:AA:60:64:65
Bluetooth ID: 8C:2D:AA:60:64:66 Usually matches Wi-Fi MAC, but with a modified last byte (since Wi-Fi/BT is one module).
Ethernet ID (MAC address of the wired adapter): 10 DD:B1:A5:4B:09
If the addresses have reset: Manually enter them into the firmware dump using a Hex editor (look for 8C2DAA606465 and 10DDB1A54B09).
Original model code (MD093RU/A)
chip MXIC MX 25L6406EM21-12GF
I would be grateful for any help.Comment

by justice171Hi BadCaps team,
I’m asking for a bit of community help with a Proline notebook that’s stuck with a Power-ON (BIOS) password. The laptop has very limited info available and I suspect it may be a local (South African) Proline board. Thought I’d check here in case anyone has seen this one before.
What I have:- Model: Proline NoteBook V146GNK
- Board: SU_GN100_MB_V12_20231120A
- Serial: GN10Q12124205W1588
- Notes: 12V main board. Very little documentation available.
What I’d like to request:- Has anyone dealt with this Proline board before or seen matching BIOS/firmware

by ryogadan78Hi guys, I need your help again.
I have this iMac from a customer that shut down during a storm along with all the other devices in the house. In particular, the router, connected via Ethernet to the iMac, caught fire.
When I removed the screen from the iMac to check the status of the LEDs, I noticed that none of them were lit. I had a perfectly compatible and working power supply, so I tried it right away, but the problem remained the same (no LEDs). With the thermal camera, I noticed only a slight warming (32 degrees) of the NCP1605BG chip on the power supply. The rest was completely... - Loading...
