My first post here for help - and I'm hoping someone here can help me..
My Z800 dual Xeon workstation has stopped posting. Just high fan spin on power up. I did a little digging about and found some electrolytic caps that were bulging and had leaked onto the board. I've replaced those and then discovered the remnants of what looked like another cap (SMD) had disintegrated on the board in the same part of the circuit. It looked like a cap but I have no way of knowing for sure, or what value it may have been as there was nothing left of it.
I wondered if someone could help me find schematics (I have looked all over), or if someone has a Z800 if they could see the component marked in Pic1 attached (red box around component) and let me know it's value?
