Just got a computer with this board and ALL of the Lelon RXA caps have failed. Having trouble finding datasheets to match against potential replacements. The caps in question are 7x 1500uf 6.3V 10x20 and 11x 1000uf 6.3V 8x12. Open to replacing with polymers as long as it works.10-23-2025, 03:14 PM -
Hello Badcapers ,I am Amijim and I am about to change the caps on two ancient socket 370 dual motherboards from 2001 and I would like to you if the Lelon RXW low ESR caps I can find locally is a good replacement part.Also i would like to ask you what wuld be better ,change the original 2700μf caps to 3300μf or 2200μf? How good are lelon caps ? I see some people install RGA Lelons currently. Also could see some old posts where lelons are reffered as the badcaps. -
Hello, I was hoping some of you kind souls could give me some advice.
I have a couple of old motherboards I'd like to have a go at repairing. They come from Dell Precision 670s, and the caps have gone bad.
Ultimately, I intend on getting rid of them, but it's a fun project to practise my (de)soldering on, so I want to see if I can resurrect them, even if only temporarily. I'd also like to check if there's anything on the onboard RAID array I missed backing up (I don't think there is, but you never know).
