Hi, I've got a 3070 ti that used to work for a limited time, my friend bought it expecting it to be a thermal/psu issue, but alas it is not. It died completely and it shorted out two rails on its way out. It blew a fuse on the left connector, but for testing purposes I've just used a 20a wire fuse to connect it back.
I think the core should be fine as PEX coil is reading about 9 ohms.
These are the two coils that are showing a short. I do have a thermal camera, so I injected 1v/0.9a at the 5V coil and the orange dot is where it heats up (it's a capacitor). When I inject the 12v coil I can't see anything, so I'm also asking what would be safe voltages to use when it's shorted over there?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
When testing PCIE connector it is not showing a short on front 3 pins for 12v and neither the 3.3v pin.
