Hello guys.
I've some Asus M2NPV-MX motherboards to repair, all with same problem: PostCode error "C1". I seen some infos on google, and all of them seem to refer to memory (DDR ) problem.
Of course I already tried the usual tests (changed RAM, replaced cpu/psu, and tested all these components on other boards, in order to be sure that all used components are fine); I re-flashed the bios with EEprom programmer, and tried various bios versions from Asus website.
Now where I've to check the problem? Caps seems to be ok; I removed all of them and tested with multimeter and LCR tester (they are not shorted and the capacity is correct). I removed capacitors near CPU and capacitors near RAM.
Seems that the system canno communicate with RAM slots for some reasons.
On the socket all seems file too (temperature of CPU is normal, identical to the working conditions of CPU on another working board).
Northbridge temperature is also normal.
Where I can check the failure?
Thanks in advance to you all.
