So firstly, yes I realize that this is not a desktop graphics card but I figured that putting it in this section may gain more attention (I do need help with it).
I have an ASUS G14 with an RTX 3060 in it. The BIOS detects the GPU and recognizes it as an RTX 3060, but in Windows, as soon as the drivers install, I get a Code 43 error in device manager.
GPU-Z is missing the following information:
BIOS version
Memory capacity, speeds, manufacturer
GPU Clock Speeds for both Core and Memory are 0.
Reinstalled drivers; no luck.
The next thing I did was reinstall Windows completely; no luck.
I decided I would try and give MATS a shot; it runs but the text file says that the "hardware is not initialized" with an error code 000000000229.
The memory coils measure 26 Ohms (it is Samsung memory).
When I power the system on, the GPU VCORE coils measure 0.754V which means that the GPU is getting power, and I also checked the memory coils which measure 1.2V when powered on. The VBIOS chip on Pin #8 measures 1.8V.
I don't really know where to go from here as running MATS was going to be my determination in finding out if it is a bad memory bank. Since that isn't running, I don't know whether or not to suspect that the GPU core is dead.
