Hi,
A couple of months ago I repaired this monitor - replacing the 68 Ohm resistors as guided by a very useful post I found on here. Today, the monitor seems to have developed a new fault, there's a smallish (30mmx20mm) rectangle which is several shades darker than the rest of the screen, it's near the centre of the screen.
It still has colour, is present evenly across RGB & white test pictures, not visible on black. I don't know how these are backlit, but I guess from it's related to the display rather than the light as it's very defined.
I had a quick look through the sea of information on here but don't know what the correct thing to search would be; can anyone tell me what I should be looking at, whether this fault can be corrected?
Cheers,
Iain
