hi computer repairmen, my wife droped her i-pad and the front screen did not break but there is no display,no backlight, so i assume the lcd panel got damaged, i bought her a new one but thought i wiuld try to repair this one, i am sure i will need the front glass and the lcd panel, and tools to take it apart need advise as to the best place to purchase the parts, and do they come as kits (front glass digitizer lcd panel tools and adhesive)or do you buy them seperate, and how much trouble is it to replace them? probably the front glass will break when i take it apart,

Ebay is probably you're best bet. Just type in "ipad lcd panel" in the search box and you'll get an ideal for what's available. Try looking at some YouTube videos to get an idea for what it takes perform the repair. Video is always better than someone trying to explain it in words.

You say no LCD/backlight; do you have signs that it is working at all? e.g. does USB cable link to computer and allow access to its files?
