I need help with an hp 1503 display . It will not display data has a white screen when the vga data cable is pluge in . prior to pluging the data cable it will display the no input signal message .

checked all caps and smd transistors and diodes vga cable works with other displays . no visable bad solder joints .Comment

I just had an HP 1502 that was doing the same thing. Fortunately I had a spare logic board out of another one that had a bad display. After swapping it works fine. I rarely attempt to repair logic boards...Comment
