    Samsung MX-JS9500 Schematics Needed

    Hello Everyone,

I am working on a Samsung MX-JS9500 Giga Party Stereo System. I am specifically insearch of the Main Board Schematics.

    The Problem:
The unit is not powering up the Bluetooth or CD player. The rest of the unit acts like everything is working fine. When you press the bluetooth button the unit says "please wait" while it tries to start the bluetooth but it never starts. The same thing happens with the CD player. There is no response it will not open the tray or close it. It just says "Loading."

My suspicion is an IC that has burned out. I have found schematics for the earlier versions of the unit, but they do not match this unit. Too many changes. Samsung no longer supports the unit so trying to find anyone with the service manual or drawings has been an impossible task. I have tried testing individual componets but there is too much going on to narrow it down without a drawing. I am just not that skilled with electronics.

The specifics for the unit are as follows:
    Model: MX-JS9500/ZA
    Main Board PN: AH94-03619A
    Code from Main Board: AH41-01174B

I would rather find a schematic than just start trying to replace all of the ICs on the board. Throwing parts at stuff has never been my method of working and it gets expensive quickly.

Thanks for any help in advance.

    Re: Samsung MX-JS9500 Schematics Needed

Sorry to poke an old thread , but it might be useful to someone.

The symptoms you describe are caused by the ESS/Phoenix CPU not running. I've fixed a couple of these by reflowing the large RAM IC immediately adjacent to the CPU, or by reflashing the NOR flash MIC6.

If anyone's got schematics of this beast, I'd love to have one.

How do I reflash the NOR flash MIC6?
And what is reflowing or whatever you mentioned about the CPU? I have the schematics to my model but don't know how to use it.
