Not much cheaper mouser in Australia is slow, RS is usually next day.
Hoping to to use to-247 package until I am sure I have this working.

Re: Crown Xti 1000 - No power

hi can you help me on the way. i have a xti2000 that comes on all the way and shows ready, after 20 sec it shuts down. i read 337 volts over tp 30 an 21 or on D24 pos neg. i see it should be 300v. what causes this. next i have a 1000xti that has 172 volt on tp30 or d24 , this amp does not come on at all, i measure 32 volts on tp31 but 2 volts on tp28 and 29. i also measured at c196 and i get 32v over that cap. hope some one can help

Re: Crown Xti 1000 - No power

Hi. I have the same problem with a DSi 1000 that is basically the same board as XTi. In my case the amplifier turn on, K1 switch and then i can hear K2 and after few seconds the amplifier turn off. I allready replace TL494 and C196 cap. IGBTs readings looks ok.

I hope you can help me with this.
        Thanks guys.
        Mike.

Amraks Have you ever figured out the issue? I believe I have the same problem. Voltage drop like you described. That little tiny tick (which isn’t coming from the relays k1 and k2 and I could swear it’s around the T1 transformer). The voltage goes all the way up to 300v on the v_bulk and v_bulkrtn and then drop back again. Each time that little tick happens, the voltage on C196 which almost gets to 24v drops back to 10, then 16, then 20 and tick, goes to 10.

I haven’t checked Q28 and 31. They are just hard to get to since they are attached to that heatsink so I didn’t want to take them out yet. I verified the relays (by taking them out and testing them), same with C196, same with all R370-373. I don’t get that 15v though and this post has finally made me understood it’s not the 30v I’m after but the 15v. I’ll check the R348 and R350 and then I’ll check all of Q26 to Q31 by removing them and testing them out of the board since I don’t know how else.

However, if you remember which of those pieces were the issue, I’ll remove that one first!

Sorry for reviving your old post. I’ve just been at this for more than 30 hours now and I was just about to give up and buy another one before finding your post.

Hi, I have the same problem with a DSI 2000. have you solved the problem? my voltages also oscillate.
