Samsung HT-X250 Laser Fix reading - call home position random error

Samsung HT-X250 Laser Fix Cd /DVD reading - call home position random error

Increase just little bit both trimmers for both laser diodes on the laser pickup, about 5-10%.
On the RC51 capacitor 22uf 25V that is near laser diodes transistors but has to do with the main processor,
connect in parallel a capacitor of 1000uf 10v and from their
positive a 1MOhm resistor to 5V stabilized system voltage line that is only on when the system is on.
This will fix the problem at about 95% to almost permanent.
The voltage on the capacitors positive point will be of about 1.655 V after this and all good.
I work almost 2 days to find this solution on my own after a new laser was replaced but still had the same problem.
    All good.
    Persistence is success !
In case, a firmware update can be done by connecting a small size fat32 formatted usb that contains the firmware files
from the Samsung official website and power on the system and chose usb input and the update will start automatically.
On the System should be no any CD at these times.
Once the Update is done the system will restart automatically.
To do a hard reset after the update is done and prior to any repair that will my fix any errors proceed :
Remove the cd from system, power of then on on dvd mode and when shows no cd press and hold stop button until
Initialise shows then the system will shut down itself.
Press again the Stop button until you see power button blinking once then done.

Re: Samsung HT-X250 Laser Fix reading - call home position random error

This is due to a decade over age of the main processor internal data processing of the feedback from the laser pickup when does fast tracks skips or return to home position after cd eject or power off while reading the last track of the cd. Note that this is not a leser issue, is the main processor issue and the solution I found can fix it without change it.
