    Re: samsung ps43d450

I'd check Vs & Va on power board are matching the panel sticker.
    Then Vscan & Ve on Y-main & X-main respectively.
(Ve not marked but in the range of 90~110V)

    For reference:
    - pic 1 is X-main
    - pic 5 is Y-main with Y-buffer (green)
    - pic 7 is power board

Ok, try set Vs to 215V and Vscan to -200V. Use adjustments on power board and Y-main to do this.

Cool, now go to the SAMSUNG website and download the latest firmware for this set, put it on a USB stick and install it on the TV. This will prevent the issue getting worse.

                  Re: samsung ps43d450

hi, googled for symptoms, and it brought me here.

at first there was no picture after approx. 1-2 minutes after power on, but sound was on

now it has picture, but it is gone yellow, and red pixels appear at larger parts of screen

same model, except on the sticker values are as follows:
                  Va 58
                  Vsc -180
                  Vs 207
                  Ve 0

                  Measured values are:
                  Va 81
                  Vs 320
                  Vsc -260

                  any help would be welcomed

Check battery in your multimeter. Black lead to chassis ground. If still high try to adjust voltages to sticker.
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

Tried with another multimeter, now I'm getting lower values

                      Va 58,17
                      Vs 207,29
                      Vscan -179,78

And tried to set set Vs to 215V and Vscan to -200V

Also solved it, now I'm gonna flash latest firmware.

What's the cause of this error, and what if it happens again, which board should I replace?

                        Thank you for help!

                          Re: samsung ps43d450

I am no expert but I think as panel ages voltages need to be adjusted to compensate. Correct voltages on plasmas are critical. That is why there is a sticker on each panel. When voltage adjustments don't correct problem anymore I think panel has reached end of life.

                            Here we go again,
after few ok days, now again picture shuts off shortly after powerup, but sound stays on.

                            Any suggestions?
