Acer DMI tools allow you to change serial number, model name, manufacturer name and some other info on Acer and Packard Bell laptops. Changing these info also help in "rebranding" a board (from Acer to Packard Bell and vice versa).

I don't think these have been uploaded here before so here they are.
Included:

• DMI121.EXE
• dmi131.EXE
• dmi140.exe
• DMI172.EXE

Exact version depends on the laptop generation, if the newest one does not work try an older one.
Tools must be executed from a bare MS-DOS (preferably without additional drivers). FreeDOS from USB drive works too.
Type "dmi<version>.exe /?" to see the parameters in order to change one of the field.
