Yes, I know how that is. I have some stubborn hardware that doesn't want to get fixed like that as well. But I keep at it.

Just as a heads up, I will be going away for another week tomorrow, so I most likely won't be able to reply to your response until then... unless I find me some open Wi-Fi I can hook onto again.

I see it has been a year and a bit since anyone comment on this; was the original powersupply every fixed? Did a correct schematic turn up? I ask as I am in the process of trying to repair one of these power supplies myself. Any updates would be appreciated.
