Panasonic TH-50PX25 no picture

So I gained this tv from a neigbor who wanted it gone. TV will turn on with no picture or sound. Led stays solid red. Where do I start with this thing? Is it worth messing with or is this thing old news? Really nice looking TV. Bet it cost a big penny in its day. I removed the cover and oh my! This baby is littered with boards. This one should be interesting. Tv manufactures had to work for their money with all that's inside it. Any help would be appreciated and the knowledge share, worth the voyage.

Need to start with good clear straight on pictures of back of tv with cover off and each board.

Is the panel energizing without a picture? Just has a slight glow?
