    EVGA GTX 650 missing components

ive got one of these cards with missing components on the back

The card shows up in device manager but says Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. So shall i just try to bridge the contacts and see if it works? i havent ever worked with stuff this small before and i dont really care if the gpu breaks because of it, as its already broken

NO NO NO Do not start bridging contacts it will not make it work and will kill it beyond repair. That's like asking "hey my light bulb burned out should I stick my tongue in the light socket to see if it has power"?

Missing parts are normal unless there was a part there and it was removed or broken off. this is not your card from what I can see.

More information would help if you want to fix the card.

It probably would have been good to circle the problem in the picture. It took me a minute to spot it too. Also, don't use off-site image hosting. We prefer it when images are attached to your post. I've fixed both of those for you this time.

Those parts missing are ceramic capacitors. I don't know what the voltage and capacitance values would be, though.
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards
