We had a lightning strike very near the house and my 51" Samsung turned off. No other devices even blinked. Lights never flickered and cable modem stayed on.
No Standby light, nothing. This was the only device in the house affected.
Fuse tested good.
I replaced the Power Supply board thinking that was it, but no change. No standby light, nothing.
Then I replaced Main board. Now the standby light comes on, it goes off when TV is turned on but nothing else happens.
The green LED on main will blink a few times then it goes off.
Turned the TV off with switch and the standby light does not come back on.
I have to unplug from power. When plugged back in the standby light comes on again.
Replaced X-Y Board, and Buffer (see photos) No change.
So every board except the X and Y Sustain boards have been replaced.
Standby light until turned on, green LED blinks and then off, no sound nothing. Standby will not come on until unplugged and plugged back in.
Zero volts on VS and VA test points.
So I figure one of the replacement boards I got is no good (guaranteed used) But which one??
