HP Pavilion dv2000 laptop with a dim display.

I have a HP Pavilion dv2000 laptop with a dim display. Normally this problem is cause by bad back light or lcd inverter. I have replace both the whole lcd panel & inverter and still have the same dim display. I also went ahead and replace the video ribbon cable also but still have the same problem. Any suggestion on what else i can try? Thanks.

Have you measured the Voltage at the inverter - think it should be about 19V - check it at the fuse on the inverter !
