Need this for a DVD/Karaoke open frame PSU repair.
This is a Fairchild part no longer in production.
The recommended replacement by Fairchild is a FSDM0265RN.
This latter part uses pin 5 whereas the former does not.
However, it appear for US import purposes (something
I will not be doing!) there is a court finding document
against Fairchild on the website prohibiting use of these
and other PWM parts as they have found to have infracted
the patents of a competitor.
Any help here as to a replacement?
Can't seem to find them anywhere other than Digikey
who require me to order 50!
It may be, I will be required to find a complete replacement
PSU with the same ratings if I am unable to source this.
