Samsung 2243wm black

Samsung 2243wm on power-up shows blue led and blank (black) screen. All the capacitors on the power and video boards test good. I swapped the LCD screen to another monitor and it works fine.

Any ideas?

Note: if you turn the power off and on when connected to a computer, there is a very brief flash of video on the screen then to black. the blue led remains on

Well I found the problem. The inverter transformer is burnt. as you can see in the photo one of the primary coils in the secondary is burnt.

This transformer is available on eBay for about $5.
