measure this diode and check if it is shorted
if shows 0 ohm then is faulty and you need to change it
also the computer should work without it but you must be careful next time

The diode shows 58,1 when multimeter is set to measure max 200K.
And that is from both sides? when I measure black on one side and red on other. and same thing if you switch sides on probes.??? should only go one way, right???
You must take diode from the board and test it with diode test. You shoud have reading i one way and not in the other way.
Ok. But does it sound like the diod is the problem? It is not shorted then? What is next thing to check? Do you think I should take out diod from bord?
not necessarily, take it off the board and test with diode test on your multimeter
Hello. I have been busy this weekend but now I took the diod of the board and did a measure. It shows no reading in any way. You wrote earlier that it should work without it. But if it have no reading I understand the diod is broken, but shouldn't it work. Or do you mean it should work but not charge. What is the correct diod to buy? There is someone selling electronic parts in my town. What do I need?
