the second picture showing the white on the unconnected side with the vertical bars on the other.... the white is "normal" response for a disconnected side in most cases. The vertical bars on the connected side is bad.

the third picture showing the "grey screen" which fades from left to right (ie getting darker), shows the now disconnected "bad" side which allows the tcon to somewhat function (ie. "uniformity")... was anything being input for this picture? You might get lucky if there are some form of side tabs along each side of the panel. Check them to see if they are discolored or any of them are hotter than others. Go from there.

Horizontal lines could be bad/faulty gate driver, vertical lines could be bad/faulty source driver.

Well at this point it's hard to tell, I'd try the "cut tape" method, ie put a piece of tape over part of the ribbon connector that goes from the tcon to the panel on the bad side ie side with the lines and see if there's an improvement. Worth a shot, it won't hurt anything, there's at least a few threads here on the operation.
