I have a Zenith Z50PJ240 which has a mind of its own it seems. It has sat a few weeks and finally decided to randomly turn on. When it does come on it works fine but after a short while will turn itself off and will refuse to turn back on.

Think LG and do some reading on the PSU board number. SOunds like bad Power board, could be something simple like a lot of really bad solder joints. They seem to have heaps of various issues when they go, bad resistors, burnt out power resistors etc etc. Currently I've got a LG Full HD model board kicking my butt. -
