    Re: Cap fell off

What is your Goal If Not Just soldering it Back? Is it damaged?

It is physically damaged, the legs are still attached to the board. I'm looking to replace it but I do not know how or where to find it.

Backstory. I did a DC connector rework on the board because the pads came off. While handling the board to reinstall it into the laptop I something hit my finger. I found this guy and found its location.

Its sits on the opposing side of the CPU

      Size of Cap

Now I do have This other Capacitor from another project that matches... maybe... I'm a noob pardon my ignorance.
The size is completely different. But if I could mount it with Loctite 382, somewhere and run jumper wires to it, will that cause any issues?
