    Asus P8Z68-V LX broken capacitor

Hi, I was thinking of repairing one of my old motherboards. It has one capacitor broken and i'm not sure what kind of capacitor would I need. I not sure but I think it might be Nichicon PLF1C271MDO1 "CAPACITOR ALUM POLY RAD 270UF 16V".

If it's correct capacitor, is there any other capacitor I could use? I only found this Nichicon capacitor from two online sources and both had about 20€ shipping costs to EU.

The ones you show in the picture are Apaq polymer capacitors (not sure what series). Probably won't be able to find those for sale, though. But you should be able to find some suitable Japanese polymer replacement. Any of these should be okay:

    Brand ..................... Series
Panasonic ............... OS-CON SEPC (formerly Sanyo OS-CON SEPC)
    United Chemicon ...... PSC, PSF
Nichicon ................. FPCAP LF/PLF (that's the PLF you found), LS/PLS, NU, NE, RL8
    Wurth Elektronics ..... WCAP-PT5H, WCAP-PTHT
    Lelon ..................... OCRZ

If you can't find these, I can post some other close series that probably will work (even though they might not have the same specifications as Nichicon LF).
