ds2331 battery

hi friends. i made a circuit and in the circuit i am using the ds2331. and the thing is . i want to replace a rechargeable battery 3 volt and getting it charged every time the ds2331 is powered how can i make it work can somebudy help

I look at the data sheet it does not explain how you turn the bit on for it to charge
Now the DS1302 dose a better job of explaining how to do this

I have done this with a Basic Stamp about 10 year ago and you can even store data in it memory I will have to see if if I still have a copy of it
