Hey all,
I stumbled upon an Acer TC-875 UR12 recently and am going to use it as a basic gaming pc. I have already upped the ram to the board max of 32gb, added a case fan, and added an m.2 ssd for OS. I have a 1050ti laying around that I have tossed in it, but it struggles to handle 1440p in some of the games. The issue I am running into is that this tower has one of the proprietary 12vo power supplies that is rated at 300w. There is no 6 pin for auxiliary PCI-e board power and that is severely limiting my choices on graphics cards. I have a donor 500w atx handy and would like to use it to power the PC. Can I just send the 12v rails into where the stock powersupply enters the board? From probing the connectors, it seems to be just B- and 12v+ running into the boards.
