Intel D945GCLF2, how to backup BIOS?

I need to save a custom BIOS that is on my D945GCLF2 so I can transfer it to a spare board. I have USB stick with the IFlash2 utility, but it doesn't seem to have a backup option. Is there a way to save the existing BIOS, perhaps with a different utility?

Of course Intel was no help, simply saying the board was at end of support life.

Got it, and it saved a 512KB .ROM file. But now I have to figure out how to program it back in. The Intel utility seems to use a different format, and the stock BIOS is about 1.37MB in that format.

Read this, it would not hurt to have access to a eprom programmer if it fails.
